Thanks to Dual-Material 3D Fusion™ and state-of-the-art high-performance materials like PA11 CF, Pebax, and PEBA, the Helu Aera is 20% lighter than our other Helu models, while offering maximum sole stiffness.
The new perforated outer shoe texture ensures maximum breathability, while bio-based polymers protect the environment. The result: a shoe that transfers power directly to the pedal without compromising comfort – and supports you on every ride.

The basis for individual customization is the scan of your feet with our HEZO Scan App, available in the App Store and also for Android devices. After ordering, you will receive all further information about the process via email.

A custom-made shoe is something special. And sometimes there are special considerations.
If, within 60 days, your shoe still doesn't feel perfect, we'll take care of it. Together with you, we will optimize the fit and find the best possible solution.
It is important that you have tested the shoes on your bike beforehand. Only under real riding conditions can it be assessed how the shoe actually feels, and only then can we make targeted improvements.
And if, despite all our efforts, we cannot find a mutually agreeable solution, we will refund 50% of the purchase price.
However, we would like to point out that every shoe produced consumes energy and resources – as does shipping. Since our shoes are custom-made, they cannot be resold. Our only option is to recycle them, which also involves energy consumption. Furthermore, valuable material properties are always lost during the recycling process.
To avoid this, we ask you to perform the scan particularly carefully and to precisely observe the requirements from our video. This way, potential sources of error can be directly excluded.
Additionally, it might feel unusual at first to ride with so much toe freedom, as standard cycling shoes are often cut narrower. Give yourself and your feet some time – several test rides will help you get used to the new riding sensation before you make a final judgment.

Simply send us back the parts you want to replace, and we'll take care of the recycling. This way, you can wear your shoes longer and contribute to sustainability at the same time. All parts you want to replace can be ordered individually in the online shop (always precisely fitted for your shoes).
